Leslie recently finished a painting we had commissioned. Well she painted it with her whole heart as if it were going to hang in her own home, or a gallery! I commissioned Leslie to paint a couple of portraits for me as a surprise to my husband for our 32nd wedding anniversary. I wanted something very personal.  Leslie came to my house to sit and discuss with me, what it was I was hoping for her to capture. 

I was really impressed with Leslie's professionalism and her wanting to ensure that she understood what I was looking for. During the month of May and June, Leslie stayed in touch with me, and would send me updates as to how things were shaping up. Upon finishing, I met up with Leslie to pick up the finished artwork. She had them individually wrapped, and she captured my full attention, as Leslie first explained each painting prior to showing them to me! I was filled with excitement and joy, when I saw the finished pieces! Leslie had truly captured what I wanted in 3 beautiful pieces!! 

When I presented these beautiful paintings to my husband a couple of days later for our anniversary, he was so filled with joy at such a personal gift, that it brought tears to his eyes!!! She's a terrific and talented artist who captures the essence of what you want her to paint for you!! So many thank you's to say from the beginning to the end of the day! I just love sitting here looking at "our" painting. The day was top notch, instructional, tasty and fun.  I can't think of a better way to spend a day.  But as great as yesterday was I think my greatest take away is how much I can't wait to break out my paints and canvas.  I will be back!!
